Ian is a law reform-oriented lawyer with a passion for helping redesign legal and governance structures to be more in sync with the rhythms of Nature. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ian contributed to numerous dimensions of the sustainability sector, including community organizing, community garden management, environmental policymaking, and deliberative public engagement. Ian has been practising law in British Columbia since 2017, with a primary focus on the areas of local government and environmental law.
